Christmas cards exchange with CEIP Graciano Atienza

 Hi everyone, 

Today, we want to inform you that our 1ESO bilingual students took part in a Christmas cards exchange with 6th primary students from CEIP Graciano Atienza. Last week, students prepared their Christmas cards to be exchanged together with a Christmas Carold. Thanks to our bilingual music teacher our students recorded their performance and sent to the primary students together with their cards. Our "conserje" Carlos helped us to make this exchange possible.

LINGUISTIC IMMERSION CRIEC - OCTOBER 2025

 Hi everybody,

From the 27th to the 30th October, 26 IES Octavio Cuartero students travelled to the CRIEC in Carboneras de Guadazaón (CU) for a linguistic immersion in English. This experience was aimed at 1ESO and 2ESO bilingual students who had the opportunity to improve their level of English together with the IES Alto Guadiana students from Tomelloso. There, all of them attended English workshops on different topics, such as Scracth, Geocatching, Escape rooms, Cluedo.... 

Our students had to introduce their town and school to the other students, and for that, they created this lovely presentation for them. They presented it and prepared a quiz with prizes for those who paid attention and guessed the answers! It was really fun!

Making Coca cola - 2ESO students - physics and chemistry

Colas are sweet, carbonated drinks, usually with caramel colouring and containing caffeine. 

Originally invented by John Pemberton, it has become popular worldwide. Coca-Cola and Pepsi have become the major international brands, leading to the drink often being seen as a symbol of the United States. 

Last week, our 2ESO students made their own cola drink, using drinks, food and materials they could find in their kitchens.
