Last week, we celebrated Halloween 🎃 at school. There were loads of scaryactivities for all students organised by the different departments. Here, you can see some of them. Don´t be scared! 👻
On the 26th September we celebrated the European Day of the Languages with our ESO students as usual. Loads of activities were carried out, so you can see most of them all with the following videos and photos.
1ESO students:
In Arts and Crafts they created this 🔝 poster that includes all the countries taken part in their e-Twinning project for this academic year.
They played the Linguine boardgame, too. They spent a good time mainly with the challenging cards !! They sang in different languages and got lots of points 👏👏👏
Some of our 4ESO students started the school year by travelling to Ireland to improve their English and find out more about Irish culture and traditions.
From the 14th to the 20th September, 21 students and 2 English teachers travelled to Bray, a town in the south of Dublin where they lived with their host families and attended English lessons in a language school. They also enjoyed many activities in the afternoon, such as tours around the nearest towns, visits to museums like the Archeological Museum and the National Gallery in Dublin or Dublin castle. In the evenings, they went bowling, played laser tag and the most enjoyable activity they did was the Irish dancing.
All in all, they had an awesome experience that for sure, they won´t forget.
During their lessons at the language school, our students had to create a project comparing Spain and Ireland. A group of students wanted to share theirs with us:
Our 1ESO bilingual students have prepared the so famous play Romeo and Juliet, by William Shakespeare, for several months. They were enthusiastic and full of energy to perform it, so their teacher Bea encouraged them to record it using new technologies.
Here, you can see the video with some of the scenes. ...and of course, there is no best way to put and end to a whole school year in lively mood! Have a rest and enjoy your summer!😉
