WEBQUEST: PROMETHEUS THE TITAN WHO DARED TO CHALLENGE ZEUS (oCTOBER 2016)

 

OBJEcTIVES:

-          Find out the Prometheus myth in the context of classical mythology.

-          Find out the influence of this myth in the universal literature.

Find out the influence of this myth in other art: picture or cinema.

TASKS:

-          Prometheus´ genealogy. Why is he the mankind benefactor?

-          What did steel Prometheus? Why?

-          What was Zeus´ reaction?

-          What was Zeus´ punishment?

-          What famous Greek hero did help Prometheus?

-          Apart from steeling, could you tell another trick made by Epimetheus?

-          Who was Epimetheus? And Pandora?

-          Who is the modern Prometheus? Investigate its author, why did she decide to write her book? Could you establish the relationship between the modern Prometheus and the Greek myth?
